The Doctor Who Figurine Collection Doctor and companion special sets continue with pack celebrating the very first TARDIS team – William Hartnell’s First Doctor, Jacqueline Hill’s Barbara, William Russell’s Ian Chesterton, and Carole Ann Ford’s Susan – and the latest, consisting of Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor, Mandip Gill’s Yaz Khan, Bradley Walsh’s Graham O’Brien, and Tosin Cole’s Ryan Sinclair!
Each set contains four figurines – an incarnation of our favourite Time Lord alongside their three companions – perfectly rendered in hand-painted polyresin at 1:21 scale (approximately 3.5 inches tall). They also come with a “companion” magazine, packed with details behind each character’s time in the TARDIS – including interviews, photographs, and a look back at some of their best-loved stories.
The First Doctor set looks directly modeled on the looks sported in the very first episode of Doctor Who, An Unearthly Child, with a very professional looking Barbara, an astounded but heroic Ian, and a not-even-screaming Susan.
Meanwhile, the Thirteenth Doctor set features the Doctor checking out her sonic screwdriver (she does that a lot), Ryan looking gormless (he does that a lot), Yaz looking cheery (with quite a pert bum, if you’ll excuse me saying so), and Graham with his arms crossed because he’s missing ITV quiz show, The Chase.
The Doctor Who Figurine Collection Thirteenth Doctor Companion Set will be available in January 2020, while the First Doctor Companion Set follows in February.
