An incredible array of Doctors will be taking part in the BBC charity show, The Big Night In this evening (23rd April 2020), a collaboration between Children in Need and Comic Relief.
Hosted by Lenny Henry (Spyfall), the show will bring a night of comedy, music and live entertainment from the studio, linking up with stars from their houses. It raises money for those on the front line dealing with COVID-19.
The event runs from 7pm until 10pm on BBC One, and the Doctors’ recorded messages, thanking front-line staff for their work during the coronavirus lockdown, will be broadcast just before Clap For Carers at 8pm BST. Taking part are the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, Eighth, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Doctors – respectively, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, David Tennant, Matt Smith Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker – as well as “Doc Martin”, Jo Martin, from Series 12.

Matt Lucas (Nardole) also who joins David Walliams (The God Complex) in the first Little Britain sketch for a decade, and Catherine Tate (Donna Noble) returns as Lauren, currently being bovvered by remote education; her teacher is played by David Tennant.
The Big Night In aims to raise millions for vulnerable people around the UK affected by the pandemic. The government has pledged to match all public donations, with a minimum of £20 million.
