The BBC has released the first full trailer for Doctor Who Series 14, starring Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor and Millie Gibson as Ruby Sunday.

Though the trailer includes some scenes from the Christmas Day special, The Church on Ruby Road, it mainly features new footage with the Doctor and Ruby, plenty of gorgeous TARDIS shots, and looks at returning characters like Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave) and Mel Bush (Bonnie Langford).

There’s also out first look at Indira Varma’s character, the Duchess (though we’ve previously seen Varma in Torchwood as the perpetually-doomed Suzie Costello).

Here it is, our first trailer for Series 14– oh, wait they’re calling it season 1. SIGH.

We also get glimpses of Michelle Greenidge, Anita Dobson, Lenny Rush, Yasmin Finney, Jinkx Monsoon, and Angela Wynter. And we hear Bowie’s Changes!

Doctor Who Series 14 (yes, we’re sticking with it!) begins in May 2024.
