Thirteen series of Doctor Who have found a new streaming home in America: everything starring the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Doctors will be available exclusively on AMC+.
175 episodes, comprising every story, including specials, between 2005 and 2022, will be able to stream in the USA from Thursday 11th June 2026.
The episodes star Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, Peter Capaldi, and Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor, alongside a plethora of companions including Billie Piper as Rose Tyler, Freema Agyeman as Martha Jones, Karen Gillan as Amy Pond, Alex Kingston as River Song, Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts, and Mandip Gill as Yasmin Khan.
Basically, that’s everything from Rose to The Power of the Doctor, cutting off before the Disney+ era (with Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor then Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor).
Courtney Thomasma, Executive Vice President of AMC Global Media’s linear and streaming products, said:
“Doctor Who strengthens AMC+’s position as a destination for premium genre storytelling – curated franchises defined by iconic worlds, passionate fan bases and enduring cultural impact. We’re thrilled to welcome the Whoniverse into our home of fandoms, giving longtime fans a reason to return while inviting new audiences to discover one of television’s most beloved franchises.”
The series have previously been available on HBO Max. Launched in 2020, AMC+ is owned by AMC Global Media and includes other programmes co-produced by BBC America.
